An Amazing Surprise!

As predicted, late last night the snow started to fall and to our surprise when we woke this morning it hadn’t stopped!
Wow, the coverage was amazing with a very healthy depth of close to 150mm (possibly more). Once we got past the romance it dawn on us just how difficult it was got to be to get to work with almost all of the tube lines either not running or severely disrupted, so a good 25
minute walk from Baron’s Court to Shepherds Bush Central Line and we were on our way.
minute walk from Baron’s Court to Shepherds Bush Central Line and we were on our way.Surprisingly it the tube wasn’t packed, it seemed the snow was a good excuse for a lot of people not for us committed ones who would walk through snow to get to work…
As the day progressed it kept on falling which meant another trudge home in the snow for me, Grigoria on the other hand got on the Central & Piccadilly lines.Although it looks pretty for a while, it will soon turn into slush or even worse icy so I hope it clears soon…
